In April 2007 Palermo Art Hostel in Uruguay opened its doors, a new concept in accommodation. It is considered the first cultural hostel in our country and it is situated right in the centre of Palermo neighbourhood.

The hostel has capacity for up to 34 people, the beds are distributed in rooms that can be singles or shared. It also has 4 bathrooms and a lounge, besides this you have reception service, Wi-Fi 24 hrs., tourist information, among other services.

What makes Palermo Art Hostel a unique place is its multicultural space, which promotes a wide variety of art trends.

Photographic and painting exhibitions, book presentations, video clips, short films, and a big mural made by Sebastián Sáez, are some of the many cultural expressions that our guests will enjoy while having a drink at the bar.

There are over 250 m2 which are reserved for art, where you can find art exhibitions not only from local artists but also from those guests who wish to expose their own works.

Palermo Art Hostel in Uruguay is not only a hostel but a cultural bridge between montevideans and our visitors, providing the possibility of exchanging the different forms of expression all over the world.

En Abril de 2007 abrió sus puertas Palermo Art Hostel in Uruguay, un nuevo concepto en hospedaje.
El primer hostal cultural del país, ubicado en pleno barrio de Palermo.

El hostal cuenta con 34 camas, distribuidas en habitaciones compartidas e individuales,
4 baños, sala de estar. Además de servicio de recepción, Wi – Fi 24hs,
asesoramiento turístico, entre otros.

Lo que hace de Palermo Art Hostel in Uruguay un lugar único, es su espacio multicultural,
que busca promover distintas ramas del arte.

Exhibiciones fotográficas, muestras de pinturas, presentaciones de libros, video clips,
cortometrajes y un gran mural a cargo de Sebastián Sáez, son algunas de las tantas expresiones
de arte que los huéspedes podrán disfrutar, degustando de una copa en la barra que
se halla ubicada allí.

Son más de 250 m2 reservados al arte, donde podrá encontrar no solo exposiciones
de artistas locales, sino que también, de aquellos huéspedes que deseen exhibir sus obras.

Palermo Art Hostel in Uruguay no es simplemente un hostal, es un puente cultural entre
los montevideanos y nuestros visitantes, que brinda la posibilidad de intercambiar
con el mundo las distintas formas de expresión.
